In 2013, as a student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Eastern Washington University, one of my clinical rotations was with a successful, growing clinic in Kalispell. It was here where I met clinic owners and fellow physical therapists, Blaine and Ryan. During my internship, it was apparent to me that I was surrounded by a group of progressive people who wanted to improve patients’ lives, the lives of their staff, and advocate for our profession. Finally, a clinic with leaders who saw the bigger picture! Thanks to their commitment to private practice, Blaine and Ryan formed a separate entity called Health & Rehab Solutions (HRS), with a goal to partner with like-minded PTs to open their own practices in local communities.
Naturally, I was drawn to HRS and the values they embodied, so when I was presented with an opportunity to partner with them and acquire a failing clinic in Billings, I didn’t hesitate to jump right in. I knew this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build an awesome team and promote private practice. So, immediately after graduating from PT school, I moved to Billings and began my journey to create the ‘new’ Physical Therapy in Motion.
Through mentorship, collaboration, and persistence the ‘PT in Motion Team’ has been able to successfully create a private practice that is continuing to grow and expand. Since taking over PT in Motion, our team’s reputation for providing excellent physical therapy has allowed us to add another location and expand our original clinic. Our continual goals are to create and foster a fun and driven work environment, ensure we provide the highest level of care and be the best physical therapy practice in Billings!
